Research Material

Research Material is always needed when it comes to animation, for reference, and for information.
I like this graphic, because it looks like a woodcut.  Plus, I like her contemplative state about the world.
Good cartoon, but obviously done on the computer.  I like cartoons with a variance in line weight, and proper shading.

I hate this cartoon.  This is one of those cartoons where the subject matter is fine, but how it is executed bothers me.  Some people become cartoonists because they suck at drawing.  The left leg has no thigh.  Also, does one in his right mind put a stick on the end of a piece of chicken?  Also, the caveman has shaved the side of his face, but not the mustache and beard.  It is a transference from current times to ancient.  He looks too happy to be a caveman...poser.
Fishtrap.  Too long of a story to explain.  Okay...the fish gets in there, and follows the edge as if it was an underwater sea cave, to find the opening, and the way out.  Too much to explain...but basically, once the fish gets in this trap, it is not programmed to find its way out.  It can't make a tight turn.  Ugh...too hard to explain, and I'm just too lazy.
Girl:  I wonder how much money he makes per year?
Boy:  She's hot.
Some people have a spring in their step, some don't.
Smell the rose now, smell the divorce later.
Babies make Moms happy.
She is happy, and the husband is probably filling out forms at work for seven hours without a break.
One version of Mother Nature, from a mid- 70's commercial.
Male athletes just want to get laid after they win the gold, I don't know what she wants.
Winning means commercial endorsements for some, but not all.
Endorsements?  Anyone?
Happy to Sad.

He got an A, but he can't tie his shoe.  He has a rather high hairline for a young man.
 She's a winner.
Loser at five years old.  I got my first 'F' in kindergarten.  I didn't know my right hand from my left...haha.
I have to find how they actually used to depict these kinds of weights.  This modern version doesn't do it for me.  It sucks.  It does communicate the message, though.  I don't think a one ton weight would look like this at all.  It looks like a Hershey's Chunky Bar with a ring on it.
Something I found on MSN.com, which is usually a terrible source.
Models are always helpful for animation.  Art is not created in a void.
